Christian Moueix (proprietor of Dominus Estate & Co-owner of Chateau Petrus) was there in the 80`s at the birth of the American super-Cab. Putting his money where his mouth is with the purchase of Dominus Estate in the early 80`s, he played a large part in placing Napa Valley Cabernets on the map as some of the finest wines anywhere in the world. Around that time the 1990 Dominus was at the tip of the spear, and when we popped one recently, it still had it all.
